Facts

("Fact: Bears eat beets. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica")

Fact:My phone ringtone is Dancing Queen.
Love me some Abba. Unless Sarah calls, then it rings One Day More from Les Mis, and the BFF's ringtone is Get Low. For real.

Fact: The husband has Helena Bonham Carter in his Five.
This cracks me up and makes me love him that much more. He told me this during the Oscar's last year when I was all "Colin Firth this and Colin Firth that, and Christian Bale and accents, oh my!". But, he also has the Deschanel sisters, so, there's that.

Fact: I have purchased way too much crap for London.
Exhibit A. (Burberry scarf. And gorgeous new necklace from the bestie!)

Exhibit B. (It's not Michael Kors, but, I still love it!)
I'm going for like five days. You'd think I was moving there--which, honestly, solid chance I'm not coming back.

Fact: If we do go to Scotland, I'm hunting for Gerard Butler.
Or, just picking up a Scottish accent myself. I apologize in advance to all the Scots of the world.

Fact: I cannot find the perfect shade of red lipstick.
No, really, I have like ten tubes of red, but, none of them are "perfect" and you know I just buy them because the salesperson is all nice and I can't say no. Anyone have a red they love??

Fact: Totally bought this coat.
Because obviously, if I dress like a princess, Prince Harry will find me, yes?
Fact: I spent yesterday watching The Other Boleyn Girl.
Cause, A. Eric Bana and B. Totally research, right?

Fact: I'm seriously considering going back to school.
I started my application essay for a program in Liberal Studies. I'm writing on Much Ado About Nothing. We shall see how this turns out....

Fact: I did my own color and highlights on Friday.
I'm never paying for professional again--I'm damn good.

Fact: I ran 13 miles on Saturday in the freaking ghetto.
For real, we got chased my dogs. I don't need to do that again--ever.

But, I do need to at least attempt a run today--MCM is right around the corner!

I'm off to pound the pavement--and then ya know, should maybe try to pack my suitcase, wish me luck!

This post makes me happy happy joy joy!! I cannot wait for your big London trip! I love that we're both going to be "across the pond" at the same time." Please have a Guinness and some fish and chips for me. And send me photos of all your outfits. And get Gerard's autograph for me. And tell Harrod's I miss it. And man, am I bossy or what.

Your friend Morgan said it best.
Seriously, girl, I love you with a crazy love because you are so fricking cute and funny and adorable and good grief, have we established yet that we're sisters or not???
The London stuff is killing me. You know it is. But I'm determined to live (happily) vicariously through this trip of yours. I'll be going back to L, you know, when Lucy is 10 or something. Sigh.
Love the scarf, watch, coat, highlights. Especially love the men choices. (Do you have *just* 5???)
What I love more than anything is the joy seeping through your words here. Praying for you, on good days and bad. Love you!!!

Let us re-title this post "The Many Ways in Which the SP is Awesome". My favorite parts:

1) Random "The Office" references.

2) The Burberry scarf; excellent investment. They're comfy, warm, you'll wear it for years. Well played.

3) I'll let you in on a fact about that Fossil watch that'll make you feel much smarter than us Kors purchasers - Fossil manufactures Kors' watches. So you just paid much less for the same watch, you clever budget shopper.

4) Please teach us your budget home hair coloring ways. For serious.

5) WANT that trench but cannot afford the reissued Burberry original - thank you for finding that budget version!
