It's one of my all time favorite movies--I think it's everyone's all time favorite movie.
This weekend is the Dallas Marathon, which, I will always refer to as White Rock, so, let's just make peace with that now--and two years ago, at the White Rock expo, I met my bloggy friend TPG for the first time. And I am grateful for that every single day. I've had some of the best times with her over the last few years and I am 100% certain that we were put in each others lives for a reason. (mostly cheese, crazy cat pictures and Home Depot runs at 8:30PM)
So, it's fitting that tonight, while we're both battling our Scrooge McGrinch (I know, my Griswold side had y'all fooled!) we're going to get the shit kicked out of us by love. And Colin Firth, obviously.
And, this:
My wee little broken heart could use some love, so, I am very much looking forward to a night with my best girl and my favorite Brits!
What's your favorite part of Love Actually?

"Worse than the total agony of being in love?" - Sam
I also love the scene where Mark comes to Juliet & Peter's house to play the carol music and drop the cards that talk about how much he's in love with her. Although it is entirely inappropriate, it's still so damn sweet.
And of course, the entire scene where Jamie professes his love to Aurelia in broken Portuguese. *le sigh*
I love that scene so much!
ALSO, I highly suggest you get to gettin' on this Scrooge McGrinch issue because I won't allow it.
P.S. 19 days until Les Mis is in theatres!
all of it. my favorite part is all of it.
I love the whole gosh darn movie. it is definitely in my top #3. I know this scene is really sad, but the part where Juliet realizes Mark is in love with her, and he walks out of his apartment. When he finds himself outside, then has that intern struggle with himself to not go back to his house. So realistic. I've been there before. It just hits close to home.
How to pick any favorites???
1. Natalie and the PM's 10 second car ride with her loch ness (?) monster costumed nephew.
2. The PM's rendition of Good King Wenceslas, his shock at his driver's rich baritone, and tthe girls delighted dancing.
3. The surprise All You Need Is Love medley that Mark creates for Peter and Juliet's wedding.
4. Billy Mack dancing in his altogether.
5. Sam racing through the airport and Rowan Atkinson playing the befuddled traveler to help Sam's quest.
6. Sarah's silent celebration on the stairs while Karl stands on the other side of the wall.
7. The very end that shows all of the reunions at Heathrow - very rarely does a movie make me actually remember how very special our human relationships are and I love seeing how each small link makes up a great mass of people and love.
Sorry - I couldn't narrow it down!
I HATE UNCLE JAMIE!!!
