Fall Scents

I know it's still August, but, college football starts today and I think we can all agree that is the unofficial start of fall. Even if it's still 102 out. I am going to make it fall dang it!

There is probably nothing I love more than the smell of fall.

If you've ever been to my house you know I'm a candle whore. I love burning candles and certainly cycle through seasonal scents, but my absolute favorite, which I burn all year is Ember from Pier 1. It smells homey and warm--perfect for fall.

Last night I busted out the pumpkin spiced cake candles too. I mean, if we're going to do it, we're going all out.


I also adore "fall" smelling perfumes although I think I tend to wear those all year too. Perhaps it's because the deeper perfumes always remind me of Hollywood bombshells and let's be honest, this little redhead would sell her right arm to be bombshell sexy--so, perfume it is! ha!

Trish #9 or Sexy 9 are my all time go to scents and I loooooove them. I've broken more bottles of 9 in the past few months than I care to admit and my Nordstrom card has had to bear the brunt of that, but still!

But my current fave is the new Burberry Body.  

OMG. Cousin and I got samples when we spent my life savings on Bond Street and we smelled so damn good that we went back the next day and bought the full sized bottles. Seriously, we were sitting at a play and kept leaning over to smell each other. Is that creepy? We're kind of creepy. Oops.

So, there you have it. My favorite fall smells. All I need is to start making some wassail and it will be a fall festival up in here! (but my saucepan is missing, le sigh)
