Shades of Perfection: II

Since I'm feeling rather introspective today (which could stem from the fact that I'm dog sick... because I have a tendency to forget that I'm lactose intolerant and especially sensitive to soft cheeses--especially pizza cheese... that, or my diet is paying me back for the pizza and aforementioned cheese)....

Pop quiz (without looking at the links) which one is Italia and which one is my hometown?
Go!

I'm having an Italy day today--clearly. Yesterday was the islands, today is Italy, who knows what I'll come up with next!

And, to cap of this week, and send you all off into a fantastic weekend, I leave you with my favorite quote from my favorite writer/Italian/travel/chick movie.

"Between Austria and Italy, there is a section of the Alps called the Semmering. It is an impossibly steep, very high part of the mountains. They built a train track over these Alps to connect Vienna and Venice. They built these tracks even before there was a train in existence that could make the trip. They built it because they knew some day, the train would come.” Under The Tuscan Sun

Greece is my dream vaca too! I can't tell if you have actually been there. I'm thinking yes but at the same time it was all dreamy-talking so I'm still not sure. If you have and you are just missing it...then think of this to make you feel better: the extent of my world traveling- Tiajuana, Mexico and Barely-over-the-border, Canada. (awwww..poor natty)

i say the first one is your home town and the second one is Italy.

The first one looks a whole lot like California! Is that where you're from? So I'd say the top is your home town and the bottom one has to be Italy! I adore Italy and I miss it like crazy! European traveling definitely spoils you for life, and makes you miss being there.
