Y'all.
Y'ALL.
Marine Corp Marathon is less than three weeks away.
Excuse me while I go pass out from a panic attack.
Be back soon.

OK. I'm back. Still freaking out and all, but, back.
When did this happen? How is it October? How am I less than THREE WEEKS AWAY from marathon number five?
::crawls into fetal position and rocks self::
I demand that time stop now. NOW. Stop it! Stop! Also, if time stops, does that mean my wrinkles reverse? Cause that would be awesome.
Goodness. I am so overworked and undertrained that I'm sure marathon number five will be a fiery disaster. But, I rocked out a good solid 15 miles yesterday and have 22 on tap for next weekend (I just gagged), so, I CAN DO THIS. Right?
What can you do that you never thought was possible?

You've got it! Take a deep breath and put one foot in front of the other.
Dude, DUDE. Let me remind you of your badassness: you are a badass. Anyways, if you can run 22 miles this weekend (which you will no prob), you will be MORE than ready to rock 26.2 at the MCM (side note: soooo jealous, I've always wanted to run that marathon!). Now, start mentally preparing and say you've done this before and you'll be fiiiiiine :)
you'll do awesome! and if all else fails, bad races make for great stories. :D
You will be JUST FINE!! :)
Of course you can do it! Trust in your training! I'm 6 weeks away from my Marathon and feeling the SAME way, but you know what? WE CAN DO IT!!! I'm cheering you on girl!
Freaking out? Must be close to taper time...totally normal. But you knew that, you're a marathon pro! This is nothing. You've got this in the bag!
Who wouldn't freak out when the realization that, "good golly Pete, I'm gonna run HOW many miles? In a row? Without stopping?" hits you!!?!?
You are totally normal. Keep up the carb loading and ice that ankle!
You are going to be AMAZING! I'm not kidding, I am so excited to here about how you just slaughtered the course. I know I've told you that it was my mom's first marathon, and she assures me that it is the most festive, amazing time ever, and when you get tired and just "done," the whole atmosphere carries you through. I am saying a prayer of confidence for you, but I know that you will be a Marine Corps rockstar!
